Candlelight Yin/Restorative Meditation with Diana Vanderpool

Join Diana as she leads you thru this hour and half session.  You will begin with some pranayama breathwork, calming the nervous system and balancing the right and left hemispheres of the brain, Venturing into Yin/Restorative poses, softening the muscles and accessing the deeper layer of connective tissue for healing. We will then end this candlelight journey with a savasana, leading into a guided deep relaxation meditation. This practice helps to release mental and emotional stress and traumas, offering clarity and stillness to the mind, body and soul. Feel free to bring an eye mask and some water.

Yoga for Stress Release with Deb McClarnon

  Live it Well - is excited to announce another Thursday night Special - on the3rd Thursday of every Month, join Deb McClarnon at 7:15 to 8:15pm.  The cost is $10.00​​

A more active class for all levels of experience with postures targeting the inner legs and core, specifically the Psoas muscle - one of only two muscles in our body directly connecting the spine to the legs. This practice, known as core stress release, or trauma release, is a series of postures to assist the body in releasing stress, injury, trauma or chronic tension being stored in the body by activating a natural mechanism of vibrating or shaking which calms down the nervous system and encourages the body to return to a state of balance. The shaking, or release, is not something you have to "try" to do. When we relax into our final posture, the shaking will happen automatically. You may experience a lot of movement, or vibrations, or only subtle movement. This practice works on the theory the body knows how to heal itself and the vibrations will move to those areas that need healing.  Just relax, stay present with your breath, and enjoy.​

In the peaceful 3,500 sq. feet mindful movement studio, you will rest comfortably in savasana (laying on your back) while your instructor, Deb McClarnon takes you through systematic meditation, leaving you with a sense of wholeness.
